At the present time our website is a beta-version thus it is rather difficult to find a person being like to you to the maximum, since registered users base is at the stage of formation. The more registered users are the better chance to find your twin.

On august 2008 there was first summit of twins found each other on our website. We are planning to arrange such summits on a regular basis.

A particular algorithm making it possible to compare a new image (photo) with images presented in data base to high precision, is used. This algorithm is based on anthropometric, graphic, and vector processing of digital information. The algorithm allows not only ranging the faces according to similarity ratio, but defining required percent for one or another criterion. Besides, joint and separate application of all three analysis methods is possible.
Practically, it means the following. The program can automatically find person’s eyes in the photo. Then, face analysis and it transformation to a certain electronic image that is as such to be compared with constantly renewed base of analogically formed electronic images.
Whereas any comparison is of stochastic nature, therefore it is possible that in one photo you look very much like to famous actor, and in another photo – very vaguely resemble. But it is little wonder, since even the parents in many cases cannot see who of them their child looks like. That is why it is worth giving more than one photo for comparison thereby increasing similarity selection degree.
It is important to take into account the fact that the better the photo quality the more precisely the program makes analysis. Besides, comparison algorithm is effective only with full-face photo. When head rotation of more than 15 degrees, calculation error prevents from drawing adequate results.
